Clean Green Organic Certified
Have you ever considered where your cannabis products come from? Understanding the different methods used in cannabis cultivation is important, which is why we are upfront about how we do things…
At Whistler Cannabis Co. we have been pioneering organic certified growing practices from our hometown of Whistler, British Columbia since the day we sowed our first seeds. In 2014 our methodology was originally recognized making us Canada’s first official organic certified cannabis growers.
How we Grow
Intrinsically linked to our organic certification is the growing medium we use. Our plants are grown in living soil, an active eco system established by combining abiotic and biotic components to form a complex living environment. Once established, living soil provides everything our plants need to protect themselves from disease and regulate their water consumption independently.
Using Living Soil provides a natural cultivation medium that aligns with our organic values. In addition, its use also decreases our production waste because unlike conventional soil which gets depleted by cannabis quickly and requires regular replacement, a living soil eco system improves with age and gets stronger with every harvest it produces.
Accredited, Accountable
Being organic certified makes us accountable to Organic Growing Standards. Not only can we be inspected at anytime to ensure we are following these standards, every year we renew our accreditation to remain up to date with organic growing protocols. Being certified takes commitment. It means that not only are we growing according to Health Canada Regulations, but that our products are also subject to a secondary level of regulation.
Bubba Kush
Indica Dominant Hybrid
Aromas of earth and pine intertwine with a sweetness like honey. Leaves the color of a deep purple twilight
mingle with the vibrant greens of a new fern after a spring rainburst. Reaching for the sunlight, this strikingly
exotic and elegant flower would be at home in any decorative garden. Its lineage may be murky and unknown, but Bubba Kush is anything but. Famed for its unforgettable scent and heavy trichome frosting, this strain is a unique fusion of earthy flavors and soft sweetness.
Common Terpenes: D-Limonene, Trans-Nerolidol, Caryophyllene, Myrcene, Linalool
BC Rockstar
Pure Indica
An alluring scent so powerful, piney, and woody it will transport you to the verdant forests of the West Coast.
An earthy taste so visceral you’ll feel the snap of dry twigs under your feet. This sticky bud is decorated
with a carpet of glittering, frosted trichomes so thick they almost obscure the smokey greens of the leaf
underneath. Aptly named for its home province, Rockstar is a strain as dense as British Columbia’s wilderness,
with an undeniably captivating aroma.
Common Terpenes: Myrcene, D-Limonene, Trans-Nerolidol, Caryophyllene, Linalool
Acapulco Gold
A whisper of wind sways the stems, perfuming the air with an enticing earthy scent under a radiant Mexican
sun. Bathing luxuriously in the heat, Acapulco Gold blooms in lush greens and polished copper. A little dense and a little spongy, and with its iconic golden-orange streak, there’s no mistaking this classic cannabis strain. It creates a strong, fragrant earthiness that hits the nose with promises of pine and a suggestion of citrus and
follows through with a rich flavor profile to match.
Common Terpenes: Terpinolene, Caryophyllene, D-Limonene, Trans-Nerolidol, Myrcene
Sour Jack
Sativa Dominant Hybrid
Leaves the hue of fresh limes, curled pistils the colour of plump oranges, an aroma like the smell of sliced
lemons, and twinkling trichomes like fresh dew in a morning orchard. Half Sour Diesel and half Jack Herer,
Sour Jack is a hard-to-come-by strain that is cherished by those who do for its powerful tropical fruit and
fuel scent. The citrus perfume is joined by a twang of diesel, which is largely lost on the inhale leaving a
smooth and soft sour fruit flavor.
Common Terpenes: Myrcene, D-Limonene, Trans-Nerolidol, Linalool, Caryophyllene
